Summer Car Show
Always on the last Saturday in July, from 8:00am to 2:00pm.
Pat Patin is our wonderful DJ. Her collection of music helps make the day fun!
We award trophies and have goodie bags to the first 100 registered cars.
Door prizes are given out through out the day.
Meijer will serve a free grilled hotdog lunch from 11:00 to 1:00.

This Year we will be offering two nights of spooky fun!
On October 29, don't miss "Halloween Extreme" . This special evening is for teens and adults, a little to scary for the little ones but loads of fun for our older visitors.
Join us 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
On Halloween night be sure to visit the Haunted School House, this Spooktackuler event will be open from 5:00pm to 7:00 pm.
Our volunteers Marie and Nolan Patin along with Phil Mann will transform the one room school next to the museum into a fun and spooky place to visit. This event is suitable for all ages.

The 2016 Haunted School was a fun and spooky event! We had over 300 visitors during the two nights. That is pretty good considering we were only open two hours each night. Thanks to our wonderful volunteers who put this event on. Watch for the Haunted School again next year!
Memorial Cemetery Walk
The Sunday before memorial day we honor a veteran of each war at Elmwood Cemetery.
Biographical and Historical information is presented at the gravesite of a service person representing wars from 1812 to today.
The Glenn Hill Post of the American Legion color guard offers the salute.
Refreshments are served at the museum after the Tribute.
The Cedar Springs Museum hosts an open house each veterans' day. Visitors are encouraged to view the military display and add their own military history to our genealogy department. Open 1:00 to 4:00.
December 3, 2016 - From 1:00 to 3:00. Before the lighting of the Cedar Springs Christmas Tree by the Chamber of Commerce, visit the museum and make a delightful ornament to take home with you. No Charge!
Red Flannel Day
The museum is open Red Flannel Day from 9:00 to 3:00.

Over the next year the museum staff and volunteers will be working on our upcoming 50th Anniversary celebration.
During the year 2017 we will bring in more programs and are working on a very special display. We are also hard at work on a new Cedar Springs History book. The book will focus on the businesses that have made their home in our town. Without these hard working families investing in Cedar Springs over the last 160 years we may not have the wonderful growing community that we do today.
The Cedar Springs GR&I Train Station - Looking South
