This Year we will be offering two nights of spooky fun!

On October 29, don't miss  "Halloween Extreme" .  This special evening is for teens and adults, a little to scary for the little ones but loads of fun for our older visitors.

Join us  5:00 to 7:00 pm.

On Halloween night be sure to visit the Haunted School House, this Spooktackuler  event will be open from 5:00pm to 7:00 pm.

Our volunteers Marie and Nolan Patin along with Phil Mann will transform the one room school next to the museum into a fun and spooky place to visit. This event is suitable for all ages.

                                               Have a Happy Halloween

The  2016 Haunted School was a fun and spooky event!  We had over 300 visitors during the two nights. That is pretty good considering we were only open two hours each night. Thanks to our wonderful volunteers who put this event on.  Watch for the Haunted School again next year!

Memorial Cemetery Walk

The Sunday before memorial day we honor a veteran of each war at Elmwood Cemetery.

Biographical and Historical information is presented at the gravesite of a service person representing wars from 1812 to today.

The Glenn Hill Post of the American Legion color guard offers the salute.

Refreshments are served at the museum after the Tribute.

Veterans' Day

The Cedar Springs Museum hosts an open house each veterans' day.  Visitors are encouraged to view the military display and add their own military history to our genealogy  department.  Open 1:00 to 4:00.

 Coming soon

Over the next year the museum staff and volunteers will be working on our upcoming 50th Anniversary celebration.

During the year 2017 we will bring in more programs and are working on a very special display.  We are also hard at work on a new Cedar Springs History book. The book will focus on the businesses that have made their home in our town. Without these hard working families investing in Cedar Springs over the last 160 years we may not have the wonderful growing community that we do today
